I can send and receive dumps, save and load from files, randomize parameters (you're welcome, fantomaxis), and changing parameters onscreen also changes them on the Blofeld. I have ALL parameters working properly, including the irritating overlapped effects parameters. Update: everything is working so far as I can tell, I'm running out of bugs, so it's soon time for others to pound on it. If you're interested in working on one, feel free to ask me any questions. The framework is designed to make it easy for a competent Java coder to add his own editors for other synths beyond the Blofeld. I'd appreciate some suggestions about parameter changes to make so that it looks better on them (see edisyn/gui/Style.java). It might well run on Linux or on Windows, but you're on your own. Also I've developed this on, and specifically for, OS X. This is an early version which just consists of jar files, with some instructions for how to install them. The toolkit is called edisyn, and you can download it here. It has editors for both Single and MultiMode of the Blofeld/Blokeys, and also the Microwave II, XT, and XTk. Could get one done for a few other synths too. It could be easily modified to run on Windows or Linux ultimately. At this rate, should have it basically done in under a week, at least for Single mode. I've got the backing store, custom widgets, and one page (of about four) done over the weekend. Irritated by the lack of free Blofeld editors on OS X, I've been piecing together my own.
